Location and access

Aveyron is a department where rural tourism has been very well developed, the area surrounding Rignac, situated between the Causses and the Massif Central, is the ideal base for those in search of rest and relaxation, it offers a unique fusion of vast plateaus, green valleys and green open spaces.

At an altitude of 504m, Rignac is 25 km west of Rodez, the prefecture (administrative centre) of the Aveyron department, 28 km from the sub-prefecture of Villefranche-de-Rouergue, and 25 km from the Decazeville basin. Rignac is the administrative centre for its local district, including the neighbouring villages of Anglars, Auzits, Belcastel, Bournazel, Escandolières, Goutrens and Mayran.
